Don, Thanks for the information on the APA magazine, just got "Polygraph" in the mail and saw your research. Nice work, looks like Backster was very on target with the scoring system. Slight improvements but the basics are the same without all the rules he taught. IP: Logged |

Thank you to the APA Board for exercising discretion with the funds of the APA membership as indicated by making the APA Magazine exclusively digital. As a member of the APA, I for one am grateful to know that collectively you use such discretion with these funds, particularly during these tough economic hard times.------------------ Ben ben@PolygraphToday.com IP: Logged |

Ben: Appreciate the kind words. Going all-electronic in the APA Magazine has advantages in addition to cost: reduced production time, electronic archiving, being searchable, etc. We usually don't get feedback on the publications unless we've done something wrong, so let me say thanks for taking the time.Bill2E: Cleve got a lot of things right, including standardized processes, placing CQs right in front of RQs, the principle of numerical scoring, and arguing in favor of the EDA, to name a few. Though Cleve and I have had our differences about how to approach the development of best practices, some of Cleve’s innovations will no doubt stay with us for a long time.
